Vasileios Koumantaros


  • Director of Sales & Installations

    Originally from Sparta, Greece, Vasileios grew up immersed in his family’s cabinetry business, where he gained hands-on experience in all aspects of cabinet manufacturing and installation.

    After relocating to the United States, Vasileios discovered a new passion in the world of window treatments, leading him to explore this exciting facet of the home improvement industry. His expertise quickly expanded, and he soon found himself installing custom window treatments for some of New England’s most prominent designers and builders. His work has graced homes across Charlotte, Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Manhattan, and as far south as Palm Beach.

    Dubbed “MacGyver” for his exceptional problem-solving skills, Vasileios is known for tackling challenges with creativity and precision—there’s no obstacle he can’t overcome. A self-professed perfectionist, he thrives on collaborating with designers and builders to bring custom designs to life with meticulous attention to detail.

Despina Koumantaros


  • Operations Manager

    A native of Massachusetts, Despina graduated with a BA from UMASS. Soon after graduating, Despina moved to Greece where she sought to reconnect with her ethnic roots, while making Athens her home. There she developed her finance experience within the corporate sector and travel industry. It wasn’t too long after returning to Massachusetts, that together with Vasileios, Despina embarked on a new quest and thus relocated to Charlotte, where they established Level Up Tailored Window Coverings. Today, Despina applies her proficiency in business management to maintain daily operations and ensure all projects exceed window design expectations. 

    Outside of her role at Level Up, Despina’s greatest joy is being a mom to Niko and Melina.
